CM addresses “Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti Samaroh” in Ludhiana

Chandigarh, May 3 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini appealed to the people of Punjab to form a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the next Assembly elections, assuring that all welfare schemes running in Haryana will also be implemented in Punjab. He also said that the doors of the ‘Haryana CM House’ are always open for the people of Punjab, assuring that any work related to them or their family members would be taken up and full assistance will be provided.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was addressing the “Maharishi Kashyap Jayanti Samaroh” in Ludhiana, Punjab on Sunday.

Paying tribute to Maharishi Kashyap, the Chief Minister said that Maharishi Kashyap was a great social reformer and protector of people. He contributed to society by writing important texts like Kashyapa Samhita. He said the history of the Kashyap community is full of pride and mentioned that strong leaders like Nishad Raj belonged to this community, who gave shelter to Lord Shri Ram during exile. He also said that Bhakt Prahlad and Bhai Himmat Singh, one of the Panj Pyare of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, were from this community.

He described the Kashyap community as brave, hardworking and self-respecting, and said that they have immense potential. By using their abilities, they can contribute not only to their community but also to the development of the whole society.

He shared details of the schemes being run by the Haryana Government for the welfare of the Kashyap community and other backward classes, and said that the government’s priority is to ensure development reaches the last person. The motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” reflects this vision.

Sh. Saini said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is the biggest supporter of backward classes and has given constitutional status to the Central OBC Commission. He said the Prime Minister has a vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, and everyone should move forward together above differences of caste, region and language.

He appealed to the people of Punjab to form a government of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said such a government would work in the interest of the people. He also called upon them to reject the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging that it had made false promises.

National President, Akhil Bhartiya Kashyap Rajput Kalyan Society, Sh. Anup Bhardwaj, Sh. Baldev Raj Kashyap, Sh. Sukhdev Singh and several other dignitaries were present.
