Rohtak, May 11:
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has directed all district officials to adopt a positive, citizen-centric and solution-oriented approach while addressing grievances received during Samadhan Camps and through various public grievance portals. He emphasized that complaints should not merely be disposed of procedurally, but resolved effectively through timely action, accountability and meaningful communication with citizens.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that lasting resolution of grievances can only be achieved when concerned officers directly engage with complainants, explain the action taken by the department and ensure citizen satisfaction through transparent communication and timely follow-up.
Sachin Gupta said that under the directions of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Samadhan Camps are being organised every Monday and Thursday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the district headquarters as well as all sub-divisional headquarters to facilitate time-bound disposal of grievances related to all departments under one roof.
He said the primary objective of these camps is to provide citizens with an accessible and responsive administrative mechanism where their problems can be heard and resolved without unnecessary delay. Officers have been directed to regularly monitor Samadhan Camps as well as online grievance portals and ensure that pending complaints are disposed of within the prescribed timelines.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that the district administration is continuously reviewing the disposal status of complaints received through Samadhan Camps and other grievance redressal platforms. To strengthen accountability and citizen feedback mechanisms, a dedicated calling cell has also been established by the district administration. Complaints are considered resolved only after obtaining satisfaction feedback from the concerned citizens.
He directed all departmental heads not to keep public grievances pending unnecessarily and to ensure prompt, practical and time-bound resolution of issues raised by citizens.
