CM Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stone of Projects Worth ₹49.73 Crore in Safidon

Chandigarh, April 4 — Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 10 development projects worth ₹49.73 crore at the Dhanyawad evam Vikas Rally held in Safidon, Jind. These include the inauguration of 6 projects worth ₹19.31 crore and the foundation laying of 4 projects worth ₹30.42 crore.

The Chief Minister inaugurated 12 classrooms at Government College, Safidon, constructed at a cost of ₹3.75 crore.

In addition, he inaugurated a ghat on the Hansi Branch for religious purposes under the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, built at a cost of ₹3.20 crore. He also inaugurated the renovation and beautification work of a ghat near Nagkshetra Tirth on the Hansi Branch, completed at a cost of ₹1.42 crore.

Further, he inaugurated side lining of the Padana Drain and reconstruction of three bridges, completed at a cost of ₹4.72 crore.

He also inaugurated development works on the Ludana Link Drain completed at a cost of ₹2.93 crore. Additionally, the reconstruction of the Safidon Minor, completed at a cost of ₹3.26 crore, was also inaugurated.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for special repair of internal roads (Phase-II), rising main, and storm water drainage system in Safidon New Grain Market, to be undertaken by the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) at a cost of ₹3.14 crore.

He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 33 kV substation at Ludana by Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) at a cost of ₹10.01 crore.

Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of Maharshi Jamadagni Government Girls College at Pillukhera under the Higher Education Department, at a cost of ₹8 crore.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of a Rest House to be constructed at a cost of ₹9.27 crore.
