Children can apply online for Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar till July 31

Chandigarh, May 19 – The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has started the nomination process for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar-2026. The award aims to honour children at the national level who have achieved exceptional success at a young age and have become an inspiration for society.

Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that six major categories have been fixed for the award, including bravery, social service, environment protection, sports, art and culture, and science and technology.

All children who have done outstanding work in these fields and are below 18 years of age as on July 31, 2026, can apply for the award. The nomination process is completely online and applications will be accepted only through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal. Applications can be submitted through (https://awards.gov.in).The last date to apply is July 31, 2026.
