CM reviews civic arrangements in Gurugram, halts convoy to take on-ground stock

Gurugram, April 26- In a proactive review of urban governance, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday visited multiple locations across Gurugram to assess civic arrangements and the status of public service delivery.
Beginning his visit in the morning, the Chief Minister inspected stretches of National Highway 48. In the afternoon, he reviewed the Leg-2 drain near Ashok Vihar–Bhimgarh Kheri. He was accompanied by Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Gurugram MLA, Sh. Mukesh Sharma and Pataudi MLA, Smt. Bimla Chaudhary.
While travelling from the PWD Rest House to Gurukamal, the Chief Minister briefly halted his convoy along the service lane of NH-48 to take stock of cleanliness, maintenance of greenery and overall civic conditions. He issued directions to the concerned officials on the spot to address identified gaps and ensure prompt improvement.
Emphasising citizen-centric governance, the Chief Minister said that there should be no deficiency in services related to public convenience in Gurugram. He said that regular feedback from citizens is being obtained and such field visits will continue to ensure effective implementation. He also directed that adequate attention be given to roadside greenery and proper upkeep of parks across the city.
Later, the Chief Minister inspected the Leg-2 drain passing near Ashok Vihar–Bhimgarh Kheri and reviewed in detail the measures being undertaken for cleaning and management of the drain. He directed officiers concerned to ensure continuous cleaning operations, regular sampling of water, and strengthening of both sides of the drain along with maintaining cleanliness in the surrounding areas.
Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Uttam Singh, Municipal Corporation Gurugram Commissioner, Sh. Pradeep Dahiya, Police Commissioner, Sh. Vikas Arora, and senior officers from GMDA and other departments were present during the visit.
