Chandigarh, May 8 – Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said under the “Sugarcane Technology Mission”, farmers who adopt sugarcane plantation in wide rows with a spacing of four feet will now be provided an incentive of Rs 5,000 per acre by the government. Earlier, this incentive amount was Rs 3,000 per acre.
Sh. Rana shared this information after chairing a departmental review meeting here today.
