Haryana Seeks Departmental Inputs to Strengthen Capacity Building Framework under Mission Karmayogi

Chandigarh, May 4 – The Haryana Government has initiated steps to further strengthen its capacity-building framework under Mission Karmayogi by seeking detailed inputs from all Administrative Secretaries regarding cadre-wise roles and responsibilities of employees across departments.

According to an official communication issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, emphasis is being laid on promoting digital learning through the iGOT Karmayogi platform, aligning with the broader vision of Mission Karmayogi to build a future-ready civil service. The state is focusing on creating structured, continuous, and outcome-oriented training systems.

The Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), as the apex training institute of the state, has been designated as the nodal agency for implementing capacity building initiatives.

To facilitate the preparation of need-based Capacity Building Plans, departments have been requested to furnish detailed data related to job roles and responsibilities for each category of employees. This information will help design targeted training modules and enhance efficiency in governance.

All departments have been urged to provide the requisite information to HIPA at the earliest to need-based capacity building plans.
