Chandigarh, April 27 – A one-day session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha was held here today, during which obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to prominent personalities who have expired between the end of the previous session and the beginning of this session.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, who is also the Leader of the House, paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions. These include Sh. Gopi Chand Gahlot, former Deputy Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, and Sh. Jangbir Singh, former Member of Parliament.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan also read the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls. INLD MLA, Sh. Aditya Devilal also read the obituary resolutions on behalf of their party.
The House also bid a tearful farewell to those brave soldiers who showed indomitable courage and made the supreme sacrifice while safeguarding the unity and integrity of our motherland. These include Lieutenant Amit Singh, village Nauganwa, District Jhajjar; Subedar Dharmvir, village Sambapur, District Ambala; Assistant Sub Inspector Jageram, village Barsana, District Charkhi Dadri; Havildar Rajesh Kumar, village Kairu, District Bhiwani; Havildar Virender Singh, village Bushan, District Bhiwani; Naik Ashok Kumar, village Bawaniyan, District Mahendragarh; Corporal Aman, village Chiri, District Rohtak; Lance Naik Naresh Ahlawat, village Gochhi, District Jhajjar; Sepoy Arvinder Singh, village Tharwa, District Ambala; Sepoy Babulal, village Bachhod, District Mahendragarh; Sepoy Naveen Yadav, village Kheri Khummar, District Jhajjar; Sepoy Himanshu Kaushik, village Deshalpur, District Jhajjar; Sepoy Naveen Kumar, village Mishri, District Charkhi Dadri; Sepoy Aman Kumar, village Khariyawas, District Bhiwani; Sepoy Jaideep, village Matand, District Sonipat; and Sepoy Mohit, village Sahupura, District Faridabad.
