Haryana Vidhan Sabha Pays Tributes to Leaders and Martyrs in One-Day Session

Chandigarh, April 27 – A one-day session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha was held here today, during which obituary resolutions were passed to pay rich tributes to prominent personalities who have expired between the end of the previous session and the beginning of this session.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, who is also the Leader of the House, paid tributes and read out the obituary resolutions. These include Sh. Gopi Chand Gahlot, former Deputy Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, and Sh. Jangbir Singh, former Member of Parliament.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan also read the obituary resolutions and paid tributes to the departed souls. INLD MLA, Sh. Aditya Devilal also read the obituary resolutions on behalf of their party.

The House also bid a tearful farewell to those brave soldiers who showed indomitable courage and made the supreme sacrifice while safeguarding the unity and integrity of our motherland.
