International Gita Mahotsav to Further Strengthen Cultural Ties Between Haryana and Japan: CM Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, June 20 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the successful organization of the International Gita Mahotsav being held in Japan.

The Chief Minister said that the International Gita Mahotsav will not only further strengthen the cultural ties between Haryana and Japan but will also provide them with renewed energy and a new direction. He said that such events promote cultural exchange between the two countries and help spread Indian culture and spiritual values across the globe.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the Haryana Government has been organizing the International Gita Jayanti Mahotsav since 2016. So far, the International Gita Mahotsav has been successfully organized in more than eight countries, taking the universal message of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to different parts of the world.

The Chief Minister said that the Gita is not merely a religious scripture but an inspiring text that guides humanity towards righteous action, duty, and moral values. Its message is relevant to all mankind, which is why people’s faith in and interest towards the Gita continue to grow across the world.

He said that the International Gita Mahotsav has helped establish Kurukshetra as a globally recognized destination. To further develop Kurukshetra at the international level, the state government is working on several new projects. Along with beautifying the city, better facilities and modern infrastructure are being developed for devotees and tourists visiting from India and abroad.

Expressing confidence, the Chief Minister said that the International Gita Mahotsav being organized in Japan will play a significant role in promoting India’s cultural and spiritual heritage and will further strengthen the friendly relations between Haryana and Japan.
