The spokesperson said that more than 15 villages of Nuh district have been facing the problem of waterlogging for a long time. Due to the continuously high water level in these areas, water remains standing in the fields, making thousands of acres of land unsuitable for farming. Farmers face difficulties every season and are unable to grow crops on their land.

To provide a permanent solution to this problem, 50 shallow tubewells will be installed along the Gurgaon Canal/Rajasthan Link Canal. These tubewells will help in draining out excess water, reducing the problem of waterlogging and making thousands of acres of land cultivable again. This will provide major relief to farmers in the affected villages and help them restart farming on their land.
