Chandigarh, March 23 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday said that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has lost its credibility, alleging that its claims of honesty stand exposed. Speaking to mediapersons after inaugurating an agriculture fair in Hisar, he added that the people of Punjab are increasingly disillusioned due to unfulfilled promises and allegations of corruption.
The Chief Minister said that today, the people of Punjab are citing Haryana as an example of a development-oriented state, as the state government has implemented several public welfare initiatives for farmers, traders, women, and youth. He added that the benefits of Haryana government’s policies are directly reaching the common people, due to which the state is continuously moving forward on the path of development.
He informed that recently, the Haryana government has implemented an important policy to provide relief to traders, which has reduced unnecessary litigation and improved the business environment.
Sh. Saini said that the double-engine government at the Centre and in the state is fully committed to the welfare of the people, and as a result, Haryana is progressing at a rapid pace. Responding to a question regarding the new rules for registration during the crop procurement process, the Chief Minister clarified that the government has already directed officials to simplify the process so that farmers do not face any inconvenience.
