Cooperation Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma Inaugurates exhibition based on welfare schemes of the Central Government

Chandigarh, May 16- Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, the vision of Antyodaya is ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level. He said that the Prime Minister has placed Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Antyodaya — upliftment of the person standing at the last mile of society — at the centre of governance and administration. He added that it is on the strength of this vision that the BJP has continued to win the trust of people for a third consecutive term at both the national and state levels.

Dr. Sharma was addressing the inaugural session of a programme in Rohtak as the Chief Guest on Saturday.

He said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s concept of Antyodaya reflects the core spirit of Indian philosophy. Emerging from the ideology of Integral Humanism, the concept is not limited to providing financial assistance but aims at ensuring dignity, self-reliance, and equal opportunities for every individual.

The Minister said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s Government is committed to ensuring that no poor person, farmer, woman, youth, labourer, or underprivileged citizen is deprived of government welfare benefits.

He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini are ensuring that government schemes serve as effective instruments of public welfare and empowerment.
