Deadline for Verification of Contractual Employees’ Applications Extended in Haryana

Chandigarh, May 6 – The Haryana Government has decided to extend the deadline for verification of applications received under the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Act, 2024 and the Haryana Contractual Employees (Security of Service) Rules, 2025 by the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs).

A letter in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi.

According to the letter, it has come to the notice of the State Government that a large number of applications on the portal www.securedemployee.csharyana.gov.in are pending for verification at the level of the current/concerned DDOs. In view of this, the deadline for verification of pending applications has been extended to ensure that all departments and organizations complete the process in a timely manner.

As per the revised schedule, the current/concerned DDOs will verify the pending applications by examining employee details and departmental service records by May 15, 2026. Thereafter, the Finance Department will create supernumerary posts for eligible employees by May 15, 2026.

Subsequently, the concerned Heads of Departments will grant service security to eligible contractual employees and issue offer letters after giving final approval on the portal by June 15, 2026.

The State Government has directed that these orders be brought to the notice of all concerned officers and necessary action be ensured within the stipulated timeline.
