Farmers will not be allowed to face any difficulties in selling their crops in grain markets – Krishan Kumar Bedi

Chandigarh, April 5 – Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the interests of farmers are paramount for the state government. Farmers will not be allowed to face any difficulties during the current Rabi season.

The Minister said this while interacting with the mediapersons after listening to public grievances at the PWD Rest House in Narwana on late Saturday evening.

The Minister said that the state government has made complete preparations in the grain markets for the wheat procurement season. He assured that no farmer, trader, or porter will face any difficulties and that the entire process will run smoothly.

Regarding the approval of the Electricity Department subdivision in Dhamtan Sahib, the Cabinet Minister said that this demand was raised during the Chief Minister’s visit to Narwana, and he immediately accepted it. He added that the people of the Dhamtan Sahib area previously had to travel to Narwana and Garhi, which caused significant inconvenience. Now, with the SDO sitting there, problems can be resolved at the local level.
