Chandigarh, May 2 – Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Lady Governor of Haryana, Smt. Mitra Ghosh, and Private Secretary to the Governor, Sh Shankha Chatterjee, were also present during the meeting.
The Governor expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his continued support, guidance and encouragement towards the overall development of Haryana. He apprised the Prime Minister of the state’s progress, ongoing public welfare initiatives and other key developmental efforts. The Governor also discussed the concept of a future-oriented university education system, with a focus on emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing.
On the occasion, Shankha Chatterjee, along with the Governor and the Lady Governor, presented two of his authored books to the Prime Minister. The books, “Advaita Vedanta: Ek Anokha Darshan (An Unparalleled Philosophy)” and “Samajik Drishtikon Mein Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra (Kurukshetra in a Social Perspective)”, were recently released by Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh in the presence of Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini and Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh Harvinder Singh Kalyan.
